Who are we?
Established in May 2004, Battle Associates is a team of professionals who can ensure the editorial content of each Forum, general organisation and sponsorship management. Skills are drawn from across the built environment and media sector, ensuring a balance between editorial and practical 'delivery' management of each event.
Matthew Battle
Chairman, UK Property Forum and Director, Battle Associates

Matthew, has more than 20 years experience of the sector having worked across the UK and also internationally in South Africa.
Appointed by Bovis Construction as a Management Trainee in 1982, Matthew worked with Bovis in the UK on various projects and as a business development professional across the UK until 1993, when he joined PMI (Project Management International) and BAe. Working with clients in the City of London and Manchester at PMI for eighteen months, before returning to Bovis International in Johannesburg, establishing the brand in the region. Upon return to the UK, Matthew spent eight years with InteriorExterior plc (now ISG plc) as Divisional Director setting up the Thames Valley and UK Regions part of the business. Since 2007, Matthew has been a Director of Ibex, part of the Doyle plc group of companies, providing business development and marketing advice at Board level within Ibex, an ?100M build and fit-out company.

Amy Battle
Event Manager
Amy is in charge of all aspects of the Delegate Experience for events created and managed by Battle Associates. She worked on the highly successful 2010 conference and has responsibility for the Thames Valley Property Forum on 8th/9th September 2011 which will be in Winnersh Triangle, Reading. Past conference experience includes running a series of successful conferences in Australia as well as many other medium and small events. Contact via amybattle@btinternet.com
Kate Read
Project Co-Ordinator
Kate has worked for Battle Associates since January 2005 with responsibility for co-ordinating events within Battle Associates but with particular emphasis on the UK Property Forum, MAPIC, URT and The Buff Dining Club. She is assisted by a team of helpers which are called upon for administration of the events when required.

Richard Blackburn
Design & Development
Richard has worked for Battle Associates since January 2004 with responsibility for all collateral design including web, brochures, direct mail, new media and general promotional aspects of the business.

Tim Battle
Director

Honorary Member BCO (British Council for Offices)
Tim has more than 45 years experience of the UK and International property, design and construction sector.
He became Senior Partner of Rybka Battle, Services Consultancy in 1985, retiring in 2001. Latterly, he was enabling conferences and events for the BCO and the Architects' Journal, and which are now the cornerstones of Battle Associates. Tim was Editor of the RIBA Commercial Offices Handbook in 2004, Editor for the BCO Fit-Out Guide also in 2004 and Editor of the BCO Guide in the best practice in the specification for offices for offices in 2000 and 2005. Tim is now retired and less involved with the business.
